Descriptions:

Hog finishing operation located approx. 10 miles east of Fairview in the Peace region of Alberta. The 160 Ac property consists of (2) 5,000 head barns (1997/98 - renovated to fully slatted floors in 2002/30) - each being 100 ft. by 400 ft. long; a service building - 20 x 46 c/w stand-by power generator; (2) liquid manure lagoons - each being approx. 3.5 million gallons; a fresh water source being approx. 7.5 million gallons. Permits and water license are in place and appear to be in compliance. There are approx. 2,100 Ac of farmland in reasonably close proximity that has been used for nutrient management in the past; it is expected these acres would continue to be available. The barns have been in production until mid-November 2011; at present they are empty and available for production
